Announcements and Birthdays!!!
If the old adage is accurate, we should be seeing flowers pretty soon…but May also brings its own set of announcements at Glen Moore UMC. Didn’t catch them during the service? Have no fear - they’re located here!
Sunday School continues at 9AM. Our children will be taught by Ms. Hepner and her helpers in the common area in the fellowship hall. Teens to young adults will be taught by Mr. Miller in the fellowship hall/kitchen.
The 2022 Altar Flower chart has several Sundays available. The chart is on the bulletin board in the vestibule. Flowers for 2022 will cost $14.00 per vase.
Want to Join Glen Moore UMC??? Anyone interested in joining the church should contact the church office and speak to either Robin Miller or Pastor Dan. Pastor Dan will be bringing in new members on selected dates throughout the year. Please feel free to contact Pastor Dan at any time with questions or discussions you may have about membership.
Prayer the Flock Volunteers Needed!!!
Many of us have experienced the power of prayer during this pandemic. GMUMC’s prayer chain has been a great help and we thank all the volunteers on the chain. BUT not everyone gets listed on the prayer chain unless a need or a joy is publicly expressed. Each one of us can use prayer at one time or another. We propose
that we organize a Pray the Flock group in which each volunteer takes a week and prays the name of EVERY member of the church at least once during the week. Each volunteer will receive a membership listing. The
prayers can be specific or just prayerfully mentioning a name. Would it not be wonderful to have fifty-two volunteers!!!! If you would like to volunteer, choose your week/s and call the church office or Bonnie R.!
